Terms Of Service

Uptime

We cannot make any guarantees as to our uptime. It is our determination though, to keep our service running as much as possible. One way to do that is to ensure that all our users confirm to our AUP.

We provide short url accounts with no ads provided that you link back to our site from yours. If your site is a regular website please link back to http://ne1.net/ ( linking instructions here ) and send us an email (webmaster[at-sign]ne1.net) to get your account updated to ad-free/premium status (which also allows you to change the redirection type to direct redirection). WAP accounts are automatically ad-free direct redirection accounts but they do require that you place a link back to http://wap.ne1.net/ prior to signing up for our service!

Exceptions

If you run any of the following type of sites you do not need to link back to ne1.net in order to get your site upgraded to an adfree account. Simply drop us an email and we will upgrade your account.

Charity sites

Inactive Accounts

Any accounts not receiving any hits for a three (3) month period are automatically deleted. Any short url account that has not been logged into in a six (6) month period will be deactivated until it is logged into (KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT UP-TO-DATE!). If an account has not been logged into for a nine (9) month period it will be deleted.

Acceptable Use Policy

You must agree to and respect our AUP. Failure to do so may result in immediate termination of your account. It is your own responsibility to keep yourself updated when they change (their is no guarantee that you will be informed when this happens). It is up to our sole discretion as to what is a breach of our rules.

Privacy

Please refer to our privacy policy. In short we use the email you sign up with us only for sending you emails, if ie. your subdomain changes status and for sending, rarely, news about our service.

Responsibility

By signing up for an account at NE1.net you agree that NE1.net cannot be held responsible for any losses brought about due to ie. downtime or any other things. You also agree (naturelly) that whatever is on your site is your own responsibility and not ours.
